Easter Ideas
Today is Easter. I kind of forgot to give anyone anything, except for a bag of black jelly beans I found at the grocery store the other day. I figure if they take all the black jelly beans, and place them into a bag, then that’ll be less black jelly beans in my bag.
I have an 18 year old son who wants me to hide Easter eggs while he works. This is what I’m going to do: Inside a few of the easter eggs, instead of pennies or nickles, I’m going to place hand written coupons, for dinners, paid for by me, to some of his favorite restaurants: Buffalo Wild Wings, the Chinese restaurant up the street, pizza from Pizza hut, and so forth. It’s raining, so I have to put it in tiny plastic bags, and then place them in the eggs. Because he insists on having his girlfriend here,I might have to come up with something else, so only he gets them. I want to include her, but I’m not sure how. I think the world of her, but was only thinking of giving the coupons to him. Maybe if I took the coupons, and stapled them into a booklet, that he can tear out, and give to me, that might work.
Not that I don’t want his girlfriend to be involved, but what if she gets an egg, with one of the restaurant coupons in it? Maybe I can take the eggs, and put the special eggs into an egg carton, and give them, just to him, after he takes her home?
I’ll have to think on this one…Have a great easter everyone. We are having a small turkey breast, Challah bread (I let it finish,and it sat in the bread machine for a bit too long, and the sweetness is not as strong. I didn’t mean to let it set, I was putting cement blocks around the porch yesterday,and it finished during that time. Wow, I’m sore today. I carried 8 cement blocks, and 8 sand castle bricks, and 3 40 pound bags of top soil, one by one, to the backyard, from my car. Dad’s dog dug up and got under the house yesterday.)
I’m trying to come up with creative Easter ideas, and I’m throwing them on here as they come to my head.
Oh,he’s out of the shower, gotta go.
